TMAgent

The TMAgent software is TCP/IP application intended to implement a distributed monitoring network based on TrafficMonitor devices. The TMAgent provides automatic collection of traffic statistics as well video records or images from several devices (up to 100) and transfers this information to standard SQL server (for example MSSQL or MySQL) through the ODBC interface.

To analyze the traffic database users can develop own client SQL application or use the universal TMDBViewer that supplied with TMAgent distribution.

The TMAgent should be installed on a remote computer connected to the same TCP/IP network where the TraficMonitor devices are operated.

Features:

• Graphical user interface for setup and configuration;
• Scheduled remote connections to all the devices;
• Filter to assign what data will are transferred from the TrafficMonitor to the data base;
• Operation and status log for each device.

The TMAgent is the client-server TCP/IP application.š Depending on settings the TMAgent can operate either as client or as server. In the client mode the TMAgent establishes the connection to the TraficMonitor (so the TraficMonitor operates as server waiting for the connection). In the server mode the TMAgent waits for a connection from the TraficMonitor (so the TraficMonitor operates as client and establishes the connection).
