The traffic information can be obtained via Ethernet 10/100 or RS-232. It supports TCP/IP which allows using the existing communications channels (Internet, Intranet) for creating a transport monitoring network.
It has an embedded Web-server whose site makes it possible to get access to the current traffic situation (including traffic statistics and real-time video) using a simple Web-browser.
TrafficMonitor-E uses "client-server" technologies for efficient control from a remote station and provision of traffic information as well video registration of incidents and real-time video on request or as continuous stream for the automatic traffic control system. Device can be embedded in a traffic controller.
